Episode 4: Some Assembly Required - Part 1
Listen in on this week's episode of "10 Minutes to Somewhere" as we go back to the operation manual and see how the forefathers of our faith got together and hung out and why they did.
Hopefully, we'll leave our extra-biblical traditions at the door as we look to restore the christian assembly to a more life giving organism of love and hope. A group that is sought after by weary travelers once again.
Episode 4 MP3 Version
Listen in on this week's episode of "10 Minutes to Somewhere" as we look into the words and descriptions God uses for the relationships of His people.
We'll do our best to try and end the disection of His body for man made purposes and keep it looking more like the bride of Christ instead of the bride of Frankenstein.

Messy Spirituality
Author: Michael Yaconelli
Joe's Review -
Messy Spirituality is like sitting down to a long conversation with God's Press Secretary. You can't help but think that Mike had a long debrief with our Creator each and every time he sat down to pen this book.
It will not be an easy read for those of a more pharisaical ilk. I even had to rethink a few things myself that I had been hanging onto just for old times sake. The book is littered with phrases and ideas that will most certainly poison your good work tendencies and hopefully send them to an early grave.
This is a book I will probably reread every year.
The Tangible Kingdom
Authors: Hugh Halter & Matt Smay
Joe's Review -
The Tangible Kingdom is one of the most practical guides I've read on transitioning to a relational community and life instead of an organized club that is a part of your life.
I highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about what living life like Jesus might actually look like.
It seems too often that when believers don't see eye to eye on things that our first response is to end the relationship and have a messy breakup. Is this how it should be or can we rise above the tabloid exploits of the world when we differ on issues?
In this episode we try to tackle this sometimes touchy topic instead of each other and build the framework for what needs to happen when we get on each others last nerve.
Listen in on this week's episode of "10 Minutes to Somewhere" and put on your boxing gloves as we go toe to toe with disagreement. If you don't like it you can always unsubscribe. (That was a little sarcasm in case you missed it.)
