About Us

Posted by mnmojoe |

The Christian Assembly Restoration Project or ecarp as the cool kids call it, is not a Six step program, it's not even a One step program, heck there isn't a program in site. It is however, the hope of a couple of friends, to be a gathering place for ourselves and others who find themselves wondering what effect the church would have if it truly loved others as Christ loves it.

Let's make this clear: we are not saying so and so is wrong and we are right. In fact, we tend to be wrong a lot and that's why we're so glad that our Father is as merciful and loving to us as He is to others. We are however, interested in meeting fellow sojourners whose hearts call out for more than planned rituals and club meetings. We want to hear stories from those of you who are exhibiting love in action in your daily life.

So if you're curious like us, about what things could be, then join in the discussion as we go about restoring the christian assembly to one of service, submission, and love.

Welcome aboard and remember: It's all about the fellowship!

About: Tom Johnson

Posted by mnmojoe |

Tom Johnson is a guy stumbling through life. And every time he falls down, Jesus picks him up.

He was a youth pastor from 1988 through 2004. Following his time as a youth pastor Tom moved to Florida for a couple of years. God used this time to re-boot Tom’s faith and help him chuck his religious baggage so he could pursue a more authentic relationship with Jesus.

Tom is currently an assistant pastor and is still finding religious baggage in his life that needs to be discarded.

He currently resides in Bayport, MN with his lovely wife and daughter.

About: Joe Jestus

Posted by mnmojoe |

Joe Jestus would love to be a Christian, but unfortunately most days he's just himself.

He's traveled near and far and met lots of wonderful people along the way, the most wonderful being his wife and 3 kids.

He's one of the most sought after speakers on many relevant topics including "How to become a sought after speaker" and "30 days to sounding more important than you really are."

At the moment Joe is enjoying serving God for free and seeing how He makes Himself known in the messes of my life.

He currently resides in Broken Arrow, OK with his family.
